Lindsay is constantly a world traveller & performer appearing over the years
in numerous international television radio & print media.
Recently featured in the Switzerland film documentary MUSIC MAVERICKS
documenting the life & music of 5 unique world musical street acts.
Also international comedian Billy Connolly's travel diary film documentary ACROSS AUSTRALIA.

Most recently a cameo performance, in a soon to be
released Bollywood movie titled RUSH.

DULCIMER INFO
The Appalachian dulcimer a traditional North American instrument
(alongside the banjo & fiddle)
harkens from the backblocks of Louisana & Arkansas.
The Appalachian dulcimer, a basic 4 string instrument usually elongated hourglass in shape
& traditionally played on the lap was redesigned by Lindsay in 1980.
Fashioned to be played as one would a guitar.

Historically this was the third generation of body
design development to this instrument

In 1989 Lindsay outfitted his Dulcimer with an electronic MIDI pickup, and went on to record the world's
first (and perhaps the only) Midi Dulcimer album in 1991. A uniquely original album
with all instrumentation played only on the dulcimer.

Then in 1991 Lindsay designed the worlds first solid body electric Dulcimer,
aptly titled Dulcitar™ patent pending.

In 2001 Lindsay held the worlds 1st Outdoor Live music Headphone concerts in the city of Amsterdam.
Titled THE OMBILICAL CHORD CONCERTS, a priveliged few (20 people at one given time),
could listen to his music live in the surrounds of Lush Live stereo sound.
Consequently there was a bit of hustling to obtain a headphone!

Lindsay is aiming to re-do these concerts but this time in other major cities around the globe and then
release a live album of those concerts.
