I saw Lindsay when he was touring the Busker Festivals promoting this album, I forget the summer?, anyway, when I was first walking by he was setting up, I noticed his guitars. I'd never seen the dulcimer before. When he started playing he began by doing a few different licks, making incredible sounds with what he had, the synthesized drum and wave machine, and his guitars. Being there from the beginning was far more impressive than coming in later in the performance, he layered each song, building the different tracks, recording, then playing and arranging it until you were hearing the full production.
Simply amazing! Unbelievable!
Lindsay, you're an incredible musician, artist, and I appreciate the time you took that day, to chat for a while, and to sign the CD I bought. Unfortunately the CD was stolen a couple years after (someone loved it as much as I did, enough to steal it from me). I just put an order in for the 8 CD set. I can't wait to get it, I haven't heard any of your other works, but I know they'll be as good as that first one I heard. I'll let you know.
Thanks for all you do. I hope life is treating you well, and you're getting the recognition and fame, fortune, you deserve. You've created, continue to create a spell, a trance of tranquility and calm, your music paints for me every time I hear it.
Merry Christmas,
Brett Currie
